THE SAUCE BIOS

Established in 2015

The Sauce is a collective of seven theatre artists and collaborators with a diverse range of skills and experience.

Our creative motivation stems from the belief that theatre should remain personal to catalyse social change.

We create new Australian works, informed by extensive research and produced through a devising process.

Aesthetically, our work is realised through and driven by core design concepts.

We aim to create safe spaces of open dialogue and understanding that are accessible to audiences’ of broad experience.

More than anything we are passionate about responding to Brisbane’s history and ever-growing creative culture by referencing local places, local experiences and shared community knowledge, always conscious of and grateful for the Aboriginal land on which we practice and its history.
